Pigeon River Builders was born in 2024 out of friendship, shared vision, and decades of combined experience in home construction. Founders Alex Seiler and AJ Tobey had each built their careers working on residential projects across Western North Carolina, honing the craft of creating homes that stand the test of time.

The two often found themselves crossing paths on job sites around Canton, NC, trading ideas and admiring each other’s work. Over countless conversations, they realized they shared the same values: build with integrity, treat people like neighbors, and create homes that fit seamlessly into the mountain landscape.

That common ground became the foundation for Pigeon River Builders.

From expansive decks to thoughtful renovations, Alex and AJ set out to serve Canton and the surrounding communities with craftsmanship, transparency, and care. Their goal is simple: to give every client a home that not only meets today’s needs but endures for generations to come.
